This week, surrounded by good friends, sharp minds, and a few rogue trivia answers, we celebrated Be One’s 14th birthday.

The Be One Big Pub Quiz brought together members old and new in Liverpool, where our story started, for an evening of celebration. As ever, our inimitable quiz master Phil Watson kept the crowd entertained and in check.

But beyond the laughter and the leaderboard, this milestone marks something much bigger.

Over the past 14 years, Be One has raised £849,000 through collective giving. Those funds have supported over 755,000 people across some of the world’s most under-served communities.

Each month, we come together to fund transformative projects led by outstanding organisations tackling inequality, poverty, climate change, and injustice. These are not quick fixes. They are long-term, locally-driven initiatives that shift power and build resilience for generations to follow.
