Your support in July 2025 has enabled us to partner with EduSpots to transform learning for 3,000 children in rural Ghana. Together, we’re breaking down barriers to education by providing African storybooks that reflect their culture and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
In rural Ghana, access to books is extremely limited, with many students learning to read solely from chalkboards. Research shows that African fiction books are not only the most requested but also the most impactful for improving literacy. This project has supplied libraries in 10 underserved communities with locally purchased books by African authors, creating opportunities for children to learn, imagine, and engage in their education.
Through literacy clubs and mentorship, students are developing critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills while improving their literacy abilities. These books are more than resources. They are tools for empowerment, creating better educational outcomes and brighter futures for thousands of young people.
Thank you for helping us equip 3,000 children with the power of reading and learning, creating lasting change in their lives and communities.
