Education, hand washing facilities and anti-bacterial products for 110,000 people in Senegal

Our April 1% will help an estimates 110,000 people in the city of Dakar access hygiene promotion and mobile hand washing facilities and 2,500 households will be given anti-bacterial products in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
United Purpose have been working in the city since 2018 on projects which support wellbeing including supplying WASH facilities, promoting behaviour changes and arranging small business support. This project will use this existing network to reach the majority of the population.
United Purpose are committed to creating community-led COVID-19 response campaigns using local knowledge to help preventative efforts and provide economic and health support for those affected by this illness.
