Team Kenya

Team Kenya is a community-led organisation working to empower women and girls in rural Kenya through education, health, and economic development initiatives. Their aim is to address structural inequalities by improving access to education, strengthening community leadership, and creating opportunities for women and young people to thrive. Over the past decade, Team Kenya has supported thousands of girls to remain in school, delivered programmes tackling gender-based violence and menstrual health, and facilitated training and livelihood opportunities for women’s groups. Their key strengths lie in our deep roots within the communities they serve, their experienced local leadership, and their collaborative approach to programme delivery. By working closely with schools, families, and local partners, they ensure that their initiatives are culturally relevant, sustainable, and capable of creating lasting positive change.
