Building Brighter Futures for 50 Girls in Uganda

This month, we’re partnering with Edukid to fund a project which will transform the lives of 50 vulnerable children in Northern Uganda.
Many of these young women have faced unimaginable challenges—teenage pregnancy, school drop-out, and a lack of opportunities. Without intervention, their futures are uncertain, and they remain trapped in the cycle of poverty.
With your support these 11-19-year-olds will be given a second chance. The programme offers life skills, business training, and vocational opportunities such as tailoring and catering, empowering them to build financial independence.
Over the course of a year, 50 students will gain the skills, knowledge, and support they need to break free from poverty and become self-reliant.
EDUKID, a UK registered charity founded in 2003, champions the right to education for children trapped in poverty and conflict. Currently aiding over 3,000 children across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America, they focus on three key goals: providing education from primary school to vocational training, breaking down barriers to education through sustainable community partnerships, and fostering global citizenship among UK students.
