As we kick off a new school year, your generous donation is already making a significant impact. By supporting us in August, you've helped reach 555 children in Malawi and Liberia with a nourishing meal every school day.
We’ve partnered with Mary’s Meals, on the second of two funding campaigns, to help kids affected by the global hunger crisis. Mary’s Meals is dedicated to working within school communities, drawing students to the classroom with the promise of a much-needed daily meal. With nourished bodies and minds, these kids are better equipped to break free from the vicious cycle of poverty.
We’ve nearly reached our 2024 goal of raising £10,000 for this outstanding charity partner, enabling us to provide 555 pupils with a nutritious meal every school day. This means a remarkable total of 108,225 lunches will be served thanks to your support. Together, we're making a tangible difference in the lives of these children, ensuring they have the sustenance they need to thrive academically (and beyond!)
Mary’s Meals is an international movement that sets up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity now feeds over 2.4 million children every school day and it costs just £19.15 to feed a child for a school year.
